We all know that Guinness is good for you. But a new study from Australia
(the unofficial second home of Double Agent) indicates that drinking beer is especially good for women.
SYDNEY (AFP) - Women who have one or two beers per day are healthier than teetotallers, according to Australian research.
A study into the health of 40,000 women from three generations and across Australia showed that those who consumed up to two beers a day were better educated, exercised more often and had fewer weight problems than women who never drink alcohol.
The research is part of the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health, a 20-year research project being conducted by the Newcastle and Queensland universities since 1996.
