Both the plaintiff and the defendant get the chance to enter his or her opening arguments and also submit any evidence that is pertinent to the case. Next, both parties enter their closing arguments and wait for the jury to deliberate. While it might sound easy, there are a few rules to follow if you don't want the case to be send right to the judge:
1. The defendant has 24 hours to accept the case.
2. There is a 24-hour time frame during which all arguments can be entered.
3. You have 24 hours to render a verdict after the defendant's closing arguments are entered.
4. In order to be considered official, any case has to have seven jury votes. A judge will make the decision if there are less or if there is a tie.
