For devout Catholics everywhere, it is sad news to learn that St. Patrick's Day falls during Holy Week this year, which calls into question how you should celebrate the traditional green beer drinking holiday. A rare event, Holy Week will not clash with St. Patrick's Day again until 2160. If you figure you will wait until 2160 to forgo the holiday, make this year one for the books (and don't forget to attend confession the following weekend).

Speed Dating. Go online and search for venues that are holding speed dating in your area. This gives you the chance to meet multiple women, and potentially gives you a better chance at landing a second date because the women out are in the same mindset you are.

Guy's Night Out. If you aren't attached, order a taxi in advance, gather up the boys and head out to your favorite bar to sample the green beer. Don't forget to order at least one round of Irish Car Bombs for everyone.

Date Night. Before you hang out with your friends, take your girl out to celebrate the holiday together. Take her to a nice dinner and toast to your relationship before you potentially get her angry later in the night when you can't walk straight and won't stop singing "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling."
