Sylvester Stallone really must be a busy gut lately. We heard about his recent plans to bring back his ROCKY series and now he is resurrecting his RAMBO character. Yeah, that's right, more Rambo. RAMBO IV is now in talks to begin work and bring itself to the screen for some more one-man military might. So far the film has a lot of hands in the jar, which leaves one to believe that it either did not impress any one company enough to fund it themselves, or it was so good that they all wanted a piece of the pie (doubtfully). Millennium Films, Emmett/Furla Films and Equity Pictures are teaming up to dish out $50 million for the next flick in the series.
The film is still in early stages and is said to have Rambo return to his ass-kicking ways when a girl goes missing. For a film that is bringing back a long and happily dead series, it sounds like they might need to beef that plot line up a bit. Filming would begin next spring in the US and Mexico if it gets all the final go-aheads.
